Broadwater Women's Group - Small Group - Linda Broadwater - Women's Group

August 15th - December 19th, 2017

This is a group which consists of single and married ladies only. We meet at my home for food and fellowship and a Bible study every Tuesday night. Tuesday nights aren’t always structured to just a Bible study. We may want to celebrate a birthday or just go out to eat once every so often on the Tuesday we would meet for Bible studies. Sometimes, we also meet outside of this group on Sunday after church to eat and have more fellowship. I feel that there is a passion for Christ in each of these single and married ladies and want to provide them with a place to share. I am very passionate about this group and hope your added passion will ignite a fire!

“LETTERS" HSM Fall Retreat

WHAT IS IT?

This year’s High School Ministry Fall Retreat, “Letters,” will focus on understanding the importance of every LETTER written vs every deed done or unaccounted for. 2 Corinthians 10:9-11 says, "I do not want to appear to be frightening you with my letters. For they say, “His letters are weighty and strong, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech of no account.” Let such a person understand that what we say by letter when absent, we do when present."

The retreat will include corporate worship services, small group discussions, private reflection times, team-building games and powerful times of prayer. On Friday, we will leave at 1pm to arrive with ample time to complete their first leg of theme-related activities before dinner. On Saturday, we will trek to the top of Camp Living Stones for ropes course activities. We will also have tons of other activities planned for the weekend.

WHO IS IT FOR?

“Letters" Fall Retreat is open to all high school students and their friends (9th-12th grades only).

WHEN IS IT?

WHERE WILL IT TAKE PLACE?

“Letters" Fall Retreat will take place at the beautiful Camp Living Stones, in Englewood, TN. It is approximately a 1.5 hour drive from Knoxville.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

“Letters" Fall Retreat costs a total of $110 per student. This amount is all-inclusive. Your child will not need any additional spending money unless they plan to purchase Camp Living Stones gear. A non-refundable deposit of $40 is due by Wednesday, September 27th to secure a spot. The remaining balance is due by Wednesday, October 18th. Of course, you may pay the whole amount up front. Greater works 02

Greater Works Shall We Do - Small Group - Charlotte Fawver - Everyone Welcome

November 29th, 2017

Do you long to see the miracles again that we read about in God’s Holy Word. When you see the sick and broken, don’t you desire for them to be healed and made whole through the power of the Name of Jesus?

Jesus said in John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

These Words of Jesus are Truth.

Let us approach the Word of God exploring by the leading of the Holy Spirit in how to walk in these greater works. Certainly, Jesus ministered in the miraculous. Is this something that the church should be walking in too? The answer is “yes”.

Come with us and see.

Both need help. Both need a plan. Both need each other. In this study, Chap Clark (Ph.d) articulates the problem with humor and fresh insight in a way you have never heard, and gives practical solutions that will change how you relate to this generation. Whether you work with teenagers or live with them, this DVD-based study will encourage you, challenge you and better equip you to raise healthy adults in today's world-something that is not only possible, but within your reach.

Guardrails reg

Guardrails - Small Group - Stan & Nancy Pippin - Everyone Welcome

November 29th, 2017

[Guardrails: a system designed to keep vehicles from straying into dangerous or off-limit areas.]

They're everywhere, but they don't really get much attention . . . until somebody hits one. And then, more often than not, it is a lifesaver. Ever wonder what it would be like to have guardrails in other areas of your life—areas where culture baits you to the edge of disaster and then chastises you when you step across the line? Your friendships. Your finances. Your marriage.

Maybe your greatest regret could have been avoided if you had established guardrails. In this study, Andy Stanley will challenge us to stop flirting with disaster and establish some personal guardrails.

PERFECT LOVE - Small Group - Kenya Stafford - Women's Group

November 29th, 2017

THIS IS A LADIES ONLY BIBLE STUDY

We all want to be known and loved. Though we can experience deep relationships with others, there will always be a hole in our hearts for the perfect love of Christ. But, what does that really mean? How do we pursue intimacy with an invisible God? What if we do not feel worthy of His love? How can we respond when troubles kidnap our security in Christ? In this session, we will walk through the Song of Solomon to answer these questions. Though romance and marital love are typically associated with the Song of Solomon, we will take a Christ-centered approach to illustrate how this ancient love story is relevant to your life and relationship with Jesus today. Through this study you will learn how to embrace God's perfect love and realize your own beauty and worth in God's eyes.
